Beech is a premium hardwood that offers an excellent balance of easy lighting and long-lasting heat. Beech also burns cleanly with very little smoke, while its smooth, papery bark helps the fire catch quickly.

Please be aware that Firewood pallets are delivered directly from our supplier, using an 18-tonne vehicle. If your address has insufficient access and a smaller 7.5 tonne vehicle is required then this will incur an extra charge of £24.00 for this service. You will be contacted by a member of our team once you place the order to confirm that sufficient access to your property is available.
The pallets cannot be delivered in anything smaller than a 7.5 tonne vehicle so If access to your property is very restricted then we do stock Net Bags of Firewood which we can deliver directly from us for across Moray & Aberdeenshire.

Beech also burns cleanly with very little smoke, while its smooth, papery bark helps the fire catch quickly.
While Birch lights the fastest but burns more quickly, and Oak is the slowest to light but burns for the longest time, Beech sits perfectly in the middle. It is easier to light than Oak but burns more steadily and for longer than Birch – making it a versatile choice on its own or a great companion to both.
With its balance of quick ignition, strong heat output and reliable burn time, Beech is the ideal choice if you want both convenience and performance from your firewood.
These Barrow Bags of Beech are great value, delivered in 4 x 270-litre narrow-access bags (approx. 200kg each) on a standard pallet. Bags can be easily moved with a domestic sack barrow, making storage and handling simple.
